Before applying to adopt one of our puppies, please read the following adoption rules carefully. These guidelines help ensure that every Cavapoo we place is given the best possible start and future.

1. Forever Homes Only

Adopting a Cavapoo puppy is a long-term commitment. These dogs typically live 12–15 years or more. We do not place puppies in temporary or trial homes. Adopters must be prepared to provide lifelong care, companionship, and love.

2. Lifestyle & Environment

We carefully match each puppy with the right family. You must have a stable living situation and enough time to dedicate to a young dog. Cavapoos are companion animals they thrive on human interaction and should not be left alone for extended hours on a daily basis.

A safe, secure home environment is essential. If you have a garden, it must be securely fenced. If you live in a flat or apartment, regular outdoor walks and social interaction are a must.

3. Experience and Understanding

While first-time dog owners are welcome, we expect all adopters to have a basic understanding of dog care and behavior. You should be ready to commit to proper training, socialization, and setting boundaries. Puppies need structure to grow into well-behaved adult dogs.

4. Health and Veterinary Care

Adopters must commit to ongoing veterinary care, including:

Annual checkups and vaccinations
Flea, tick, and worm prevention
Spaying or neutering at the appropriate age (if not already done)
Emergency care when needed

We will provide each puppy’s vaccination record, microchip information, and a health guarantee at the time of adoption.

5. Training and Socialization

All puppies require early training and socialization to become well-rounded adults. We expect adopters to invest time in basic obedience, house training, leash manners, and social interaction with people and other dogs.

Positive reinforcement is strongly encouraged. Harsh discipline or neglect will not be tolerated and may result in reclaiming the puppy.

6. Return Policy

If at any point you are unable to care for the puppy, we require that they be returned to us no exceptions. Our goal is to keep our puppies out of shelters and off rehoming sites. We will always accept them back, no matter the circumstances.

7. No Breeding

All puppies are sold as companions only, not for breeding. We may require a neuter/spay contract depending on the puppy’s age and status at the time of adoption. Responsible pet ownership includes preventing unnecessary litters.

8. Follow-up and Support

We love staying in touch with our puppy families and may follow up post-adoption to check on progress. We are also here for support whether you need training tips, dietary advice, or just want to share updates!
